Hey y’all, it’s Saturday, July 9th. Lately I’ve been battling depression. I don’t know if you can relate, but it’s like I go through spiritual highs and lows. I get so fired up in certain seasons of my life. Ready to shout the gospel from the rooftops, and other times I let my own problems bring me down. You may or may not understand that. But I want to get to a place in God that I’m riding a steady ride and He’s guiding me deeper in Him each and every day. When we invite the Holy Spirit to dwell within us, there’s no place for depression, fear, anxiety etc. The Holy Spirit gives us HOPE, Power, Peace, and Love. So what I pray is that everyday the Lord will give me a refreshing of His spirit. Everyday I want fresh Holy Spirit fire to burn in my heart for Him. Not my will, but His will be done.
So even if you’re like me and you’re dealing with family issues, depression etc Jesus can heal you and your situation. The Holy Spirit can fill you up and give you ALL joy and ALL peace. I hope and pray that all of my readers experience that peace. The peace that surpasses all understanding. Be encouraged today that our Savior gave us the wonderful gift of the Holy Spirit to comfort us.
Take at least 5 minutes today and talk to God. He is your Abba father and oh how He loves you. Read the Word even if it’s just one scripture. Our souls long to feast on the Word of God.
